People Partner is built to keep employee data local whenever possible. This page explains what data we process for licensing and support.
Data We Process
We process purchase and entitlement records, including license key, checkout identifiers, payment intent identifiers, purchaser email, and activation device hashes used for seat enforcement.
What Stays On Your Device
Employee records, chat context, and workspace content are stored locally in the desktop application. They are not uploaded as part of purchase or license validation APIs.
Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payments, Vercel Postgres for entitlement records, and Resend for transactional license emails.
